This is my one and only Blog about my life and times in the small town of Luray Virginia, nestled in the beautiful Page Valley. From my house I have views of the Shenandoah National park and the Massanuttens mountain. On a clear spring day I can see all the way down the valley to the Massanutten snowy ski slopes. I will never get tired of the views, somehow they calm my soul and give me peace.
February 7, 2007- Luray got a dusting of snow over night. I bet it looks loverly. I wouldn't know. I spend my winters in sunny Florida. Today it is 71 degrees and sunny. I took my 3 mile walk and noticed the deep blue sky didn't have any clouds. I can't stand being up north during the winter. It is so dark and dreary. The trees are dead looking and there are no festivals to go to. I like the view of the mountains with snow up around Stoneyman on Skyline drive but I don't miss the cold. It feels so depressing.
